YEAR WARRANTY SCHEDULE
NOTTSWARD GS 1150 (EXTRA O.D.)

Product
Description:
Nottsward 1150 (Extra O.D.) is intended
to be used as a sand filled sports surface.
Other applications, unless agreed prior
to installation by SurfacePlay© Inc.
are not covered under the terms of this
warranty.
Warranty Terms:
The product is guaranteed for a period
of 5 years from the date of installation
against manufacturing defects, ultra
violet degradation (including light
fastness) and excessive wear.
Agreed Sports / Activities:
Field hockey; soccer; netball; tennis;
rounders; general recreational play
of soft ball sports; children’s
playgrounds / free play general activity
areas; as a surface for an impact absorbing
playground surface; walkways, pathways
and general ornamental areas; cricket
pitch surrounds; general physical training
and running (see note on no spiked footwear).
For any other applications not listed
above please refer to the manufacturer.
Conditions:
This warranty is only applicable for
regions with an annual radiation not
exceeding 160 kilolangleys.
Climatic extremes such as radiation
in excess of 160 kilolangleys, higher
altitude, excessive heat and high industrially
polluted areas are liable to decrease
the performance of the product and will
invalidate the warranty.

Installation & Maintenance:
This warranty is only valid if the product
is installed by professional and competent
contractors. It must be installed in
accordance with the Supplier’s
Specification, Training and installation
guides provided.
The product must receive regular maintenance
in accordance with the Supplier’s
written guidance.
The sand used in the filling of the
body of the product must be of a suitable
type and the quantity maintained to
give adequate filling.
Exclusions:
This warranty excludes tears, cuts,
pulls, crushing, burns etc which may
be introduced by the use of inappropriate
footwear (e.g., spiked, studded or bladed
footwear) or other ancillary equipment
or damage which has been caused as a
result of the sub base.
Also excluded is damage due to excessive
wear in localised areas.
Damage arising from malicious acts or
general abuse is excluded from the warranty
as is damage caused by the use of improper
solvents or cleaning agents during maintenance.
Specific applications excluded under
this warranty include golf, cricket
pitches and any type of motor sport.
Claims:
Any claims made under this warranty
must be issued immediately in writing
to SurfacePlay© Inc.. Proof of purchase
must be offered at the time of the claim,
if possible quoting both the batch number
and roll number of the faulty materials.
The Supplier’s liability under
this warranty shall be limited to the
provision of replacement materials,
to enable the repair of the effected
area(s) up to maximum invoiced value
of such replacement materials depreciating
at the following levels:
Year 1 – 0%
Year 2 – 30%
Year 3 – 55%
Year 4 – 75%
Year 5 – 90%
No liability will be assumed for any
consequential damage, loss, expense
or compensation.
